“Quarantined in Psalm 119 (Psalm 119:81-88 כ Kaf)”

Preacher:
Passage: Psalm 119:81-88

During the COVID-19 pandemic and the mandated stay at home orders, as we worship in our homes, Pastor John leads the church through daily prayerful, meditative, and reflective readings of the longest chapter in the entire Bible.  Psalm 119 is divided into 22 sections, one section for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet.  We will read a section a day, and then discuss together online in our church Facebook group.

Today’s takeaway # 11 – waiting can be wearisome, but it can also be a time of growth.  Whether in times of affliction, suffering, hardship, difficulties, even quarantine, certainly we can resonate with the Psalmist when he asks in Psalm 119:84a, “How long must your servant wait?”
