Christmas Day 2020, our prayer is Zechariah’s prayer (Zechariah means “the Lord has remembered”, God has not forgotten His people).  Zechariah praises God for His redemption, salvation, and mercy, all brought about through the birth of Jesus and the important ministry of John the Baptist who will prepare the way for the Messiah.  From verse 68, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come to His people and redeemed them.”
