“Quarantined in Psalm 119 (Psalm 119:113-120 ס Samech)”

Passage: Psalm 119:113-120

During the COVID-19 pandemic and the mandated stay at home orders, as we worship in our homes, Pastor John leads the church through daily prayerful, meditative, and reflective readings of the longest chapter in the entire Bible.  Psalm 119 is divided into 22 sections, one section for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet.  We will read a section a day, and then discuss together online in our church Facebook group.

Today’s takeaway # 15 – double minded people have no moral footing and no divine anchor that keeps them on the path of righteousness.  James 1:8 says that double minded people are unstable.  The remedy for double mindedness is a life formed and shaped by the word of God.  The Psalmist again declares his love for God’s word, laws, commands, and statutes, for a life built on the word of God is built on the firmest foundation that cannot be shaken
